Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition receives renewed funding

 

September 2, 2009 - Close to half a million dollars has been committed to the annual Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition (SEIC) sponsored by the Skandalaris Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at Washington University in St. Louis. The YouthBridge Community Foundation, which has been a Washington University partner in the SEIC since its inception in 2005, is renewing its support with an initial three-year commitment of funding and training for non-profit, community-based ventures. 2009 Olin Cup Finalists selected

 

November 19, 2009 - Judges have selected the 2009 Olin Cup Competition finalists! Forty-five teams entered the competition, from which the judges selected 18 semi-finalists. On November 19, the semi-finalists participated in the Elevator Pitch Competition. Judges representing academia, investors, incubators, and service providers selected seven finalists to continue in the competition: Eyelten Therapeutics, IV Diagnostics LLC, LangLearner, Lynxess, Quad Connect, Quartzy, and Worldki.
