Curriculum Grants

The goal of the curriculum grant program is to motivate and reward faculty to develop and teach courses which teach students to see the connections between entrepreneurship and other courses of study. The grants provide incentive to interested faculty to devote the time and creativity needed to break new ground in teaching entrepreneurship.

The curriculum sub-committee of the Steering Committee reviews proposals, makes grant awards and monitors progress. The first awards were announced in December, 2004, to faculty representing six of seven Schools at the University. The recipients and the courses they have developed or are developing include:

  • Professor Douglas B. Dowd. School of Art, "Visual Communications Research Studio"
  • Steve Ehrlich and Victor Mattison, University College of Arts & Sciences, "Entrepreneurship"
  • Richard Bennet, Olin School of Business, "Social Entrepreneurship"
