  • Washington University Student Investment Fund (WUSIF): In contrast to theory, which states that perfect information leads to perfect efficiency in capital markets, we believe that large inefficiencies do exist. Our goal is to outperform the market by capitalizing upon these market mistakes. We focus on small/mid capitalization stocks that are covered by fewer analysts. We then carefully pick stocks we expect to thrive in the long-term, but are not adequately covered by the majority of investors. We also believe that our unique perspective upon the consumer spending habits of our peers will enable us to spot unique investment opportunities.

To this end, the club organizes a variety of events and invites professionals such as entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and legal experts to share their perspectives. The club also provides a forum for exchanging and critiquing ideas as well as networking and developing collaborations with other members. The goal of the club is to inspire and mobilize its members into creating or joining new technology ventures.
