Innovation Ecosystem

The Skandalaris Center is working on several projects with a broad range of partners to support the development and growth of the innovation ecosystem in our region and to further the understanding of how innovation economies grow.

Three major projects related to this effort are:

• The Innovation Mapping project: helping clearly identify specific areas of technology and science that offer a high probability for expansion, collaboration and ultimately economic growth.
• Innovate St. Louis: a new economic development organization advancing the regional culture of innovation and entrepreneurship with a focus on science and technology.
• The Innovation Network: an effort to leverage the research strengths of Mid-America by creating new collaborative opportunities for researchers across multiple universities and industry.
