Entry Process
Idea Submission
The first step in entering the Competition is for the founder to submit a description of his or her idea, including required contact information, on the IdeaBounce website. Please note that any information posted on IdeaBounce is viewable by the public. When posting an idea, select the "SEIC 2009" checkbox to enter the Competition. When submitting an idea, founders may also indicate their needs, including team members, mentors, legal advice, etc., and upload up to three files to the site.
Team Formation
Anyone is eligible to enter the Competition. Teams may be formed or changed as the competition progresses. The team formation process is aided by the YouthBridge Workshop series and networking events. Additionally, all visitors to the IdeaBounce® website may view current competitors' idea descriptions and contact information. Ultimately teams must meet the following requirements:
- Individuals may compete on more than one team.
- All submitted materials must be the original work of the contestants.
- Teams must submit all materials required by the competition schedule.
- Both existing nonprofits and new nonprofits are eligible to compete.
